Hva kan jeg si om denne boken : Jeg har vært litt skuffet over de siste bøkene som har kommet ut fra Mr.Tunzi, synes det er for lite nye bilder i dem, det samme må jeg også si om denne boken.

Men…. Det er alltid et kvalitets produkt man får når man kjøper Tunzi bøker, men det burde man forvente også til prisen man må betale.

On tour boka er grei nok den, jeg fant 3-4 bilder jeg ikke hadde sett før, boka er fint satt sammen, og jeg vet de fleste av dere ikke blir skuffet om dere kjøper den.

Showtime! Birmingham / Dallas ’76 is a 2 disc set featuring Elvis in top form at two great shows! It comes packaged as a 5” digipack with an 8-page booklet.

The December 28, 8:30 pm Dallas show from the Memorial Auditorium was attended by 9,800 fans. The 8:30 pm show on December 29 Birmingham show from the Jefferson County Coliseum was attended by more than 18,000 fans. The original source tape is damaged. We have chosen to keep track 6 & 7 on this release for historical reasons in spite of the damage. Please note that the final track listing is subject to change

High Sierra is a 1 disc release in a 5” digipack format with an 8-page booklet. It primarily features the performance from May 21, 1974 at the Sahara Tahoe Hotel with additional highlights from other shows that month. Most of the tracks on this release were recorded in 1974 at multiple dinner shows, midnight shows and even the 3:00 am performances. May 26, 1974 was the official date for Elvis' closing at the Sahara Tahoe Hotel however, Elvis added one last performance, at 3:00 am, to accommodate the crowds that had come to Lake Tahoe to see him.

It also has 30 Unreleased tracks privately recorded by Elvis while stationed in the US and Germany. These recordings are released officially for the first time to the public.

As part of this audio/visual release, the accompanying 100 page book has many rare and stunning photographs, many of which are unreleased and seen here for the first time. Den mest innsiktsfulle delen av boken er dens dekning av Elvis tidlige år, siden mange andre mennesker har gitt "store" beretninger fra de senere årene. Hvor mange beretninger om en bestemt hendelse variere eller knuses helt på grunn av defekt minne, og hvordan skal vi finne ut hva som egentlig skjedde?

Klein var en god venn av Elvis's som diskutert forholder med ham, støttet og rådet ham gjennom årene. Listen av bøker som er laget av folk som sto Elvis nær, ville være ufullstendig uten denne av George Klein.

Recorded at American Studios, Memphis, Tennessee in January & February 1969. Includes liner notes by Peter Guralnick, Colin Escott. One month after Elvis' 1968 Comeback Special aired on national television, Presley made the most artistically successful recordings of his later career. In January and February of 1969, he held sessions at American Studios in Memphis. Presley was reportedly worried that his recording career was finished, that he had been displaced by newcomers such as the Beatles. Perhaps goaded on by this perception, Presley reached new heights during the American sessions. The material he chose was impassioned, gritty, and bluesy, the complete opposite of the movie songs he had sung for most of the previous decade. A slight case of laryngitis actually improved his performances, lending his voice an appropriate roughness. Many of the best recordings from these sessions appear on FROM ELVIS IN MEMPHIS, including the hit In the Ghetto. FROM ELVIS IN MEMPHIS demonstrates how thoroughly Presley could remake a song to suit his talents, especially on the country standards Long Black Limousine and I'll Hold You In My Heart, which he transforms into R&B screamers. This is intense, heartfelt, adult music, much like the blues Presley loved as a kid on Beale Street.
